HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Jeffers Bend Environmental Center is hosting Torchlight Tales and a Bell Witch Costume Affair on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m.

Visitors will hear the story of the Bell Witch as told by William Turner and Wayne Goolsby in a family friendly ghost story. There will also be a Bell Witch costume affair presented in 1800s period attire.

The event is $5 per car and hot chocolate, homemade cookies, s’mores, and campfire tales will be provided. Military and first responders get in free.

Guests will “feel the chill of Halloween, hear strange events, and experience the uneasy fear of being watched,” according to a Facebook post from Jeffers Bend.
