OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – At 6 p.m. on Thursday, the Hopkinsville Fire Department reported that a wreck involving two semi-trucks was impacting traffic on the interstate.
Working in tandem with the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department, HFD says the accident occurred at the 86-mile marker of I-24 heading eastbound. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is also on the scene of the crash to assist.

Although the cause of the has not been shared, two semi-trucks were damaged and there is a large debris field on the roadway as a result. Officials’ advice that traffic will be impacted for a long stretch of time while the area is cleared.
According to HFD, one person was being treating for injuries, but is in stable condition.
