HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Two people were arrested yesterday afternoon after driving a stolen car filled with drug paraphernalia. A Flock traffic camera caught the white Cadillac’s license plate driving at East 18th Street in Hopkinsville, according to a report from Hopkinsville Police Department.

Officers apprehended the car on Fort Campbell Boulevard near Skyline Drive. The man and woman in the car were then arrested, and the driver told officers she had taken the vehicle a week ago. She also said the owner of the car asked for it back, but she didn’t return it because it didn’t have any gas.

The report says the driver admitted to having drug paraphernalia in the car. After a search, officers found several used needles, a glass smoking device with residue, and a spoon with residue. The passenger in the car initially supplied officers with a fake name and was given an additional charge. They were both taken to Christian County Jail.
