Updated 11:07 a.m. After releasing images to the public, the Hopkinsville Police Department was able to successfully identify the suspects within an hour.

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public to identify two individuals who are connected to an investigation.
Security cameras located on the Hopkinsville Rail Trail/Greenway captured images of two people suspected of being involved in criminal mischief by setting trash cans on fire, according to Justin Rios, Public Information Officer with HPD.
The incident currently being investigated took place on Feb. 21..
