HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – An overnight investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in a man being hospitalized after being shot.
On Sept. 22 at 12:12 a.m. deputies were called to a wreck with possible injuries just before Exit 9 on Interstate 169 northbound. While responding to the call, deputies were told a man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound, according to a news release from CCSO.
Deputies located a truck that was northbound in the median. The truck had at least four bullet holes in the driver’s door. The man was flown to a Nashville hospital due to his injuries.
The crash and shooting are under investigation, and traffic may still be impacted on Interstate 169 in the area.
