HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Two individuals have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking, following a burglary investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday, Jan. 2, deputies responded to a report of a burglary on Bradshaw Road in Hopkinsville. The suspects broke into a building stealing multiple items worth thousands of dollars, according to a press release from CCSO. Through investigating and video surveillance, deputies linked the suspects to a 37-year-old male and 36-year-old female, both of Hopkinsville.

A search warrant was executed at their residence in the 2000 block of Butler Road. Deputies with assistance from the CCSO Anti-Crime Unit recovered most of the stolen items and discovered drug paraphernalia including marijuana, meth and fentanyl inside.

They were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, first-degree meth trafficking, trafficking marijuana, along with additional charges.
