HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Parts of Northern Kentucky received a light dusting of snow Tuesday morning, with Hopkinsville and Christian County narrowly missing the winter weather.

Although temperatures are supposed to remain in the 30s, only rain is expected through Wednesday night. A brief dry spell will occur on Thursday before another system brings heavy rain Friday night through Saturday night. The National Weather Service predicts total rainfall between the two systems from four to six inches as of Feb. 11. The NWS also warned that river flooding could persist and potentially worsen.
