HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Downtown Farmers Market in Hopkinsville will be open to the public yet again for the upcoming 2025 season beginning this spring. In the meantime, the market is seeking new and returning vendors to join.

Every Thursday at Founders Square during spring, summer, and fall, the Downtown Farmers Market supplies the community with agricultural products and handmade goods. This year, they are tentatively set to kick off the season on April 17. They initially held a vendor meeting in early March and are now accepting applications for.

According to a previous application form, there are 16 spaces available per week. Vendors who are able to supply products like locally grown fruits, veggies, home-canned goods, home-baked goods, honey and honey-related products, plants, and proteins along with other handmade products are encouraged to apply.

Anyone interested in becoming a vendor this season will have to complete an application and pay a membership fee. Those interested can email ehudson@comdev-services.com or pick up a paper application at 710 South Main Street in Hopkinsville. Call (270) 887-4285 for more information.
