HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This weekend in Christian County you can take a tipsy tour of downtown Hopkinsville, enroll for class at HCC, meet a local author at the library, attend a fun piano concert, or jam out to free live music at a distillery!

Downtown Tipsy Tour: On May 16 at 5:30 p.m., the Pennyroyal Area Muesum is leading a walking tour to visit three of Hopkinsville’s downtown establishments as they stroll and drink their way through some of the seedy and scandalous moments of the past. This program is limited to guests 21 and over. The tour will last about 2 hours, cover approximately 1-1 ½ miles, and will end at Hopkinsville Brewing Company on 5th Street. Tickets are $35.00 per person. Museum Members receive a $5.00 discount.

Pathfinder Day: Visit HCC on May 17 for Pathfinder Day to enroll in classes for Summer and Fall 2025. Just drop in at the Administration Building between 9 a.m.-11 a.m., and get help with financial aid, visit an advisor, and enroll in classes. Current and new students welcome! No appointment is needed.

Book signing at the Library: Local author, David Harper, will join the library for an author signing 2-4 p.m. May 17 at Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St. Harper will sign copies of his book, “Opera 2.” Copies of the book will be available for purchase during the event. NY NY Dueling Pianos: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming, and Hotel is bringing a piece of the New York pie down here to Kentucky on May 17 with this comedy-based dueling piano show is always a fun, high-energy party-in-a-box! The pianists sing and play everything from Jimmy Buffet, Garth Brooks, Maroon 5, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Jerry Lee Lewis, Disney, Bruno Mars, Elvis, Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Metallica and just about anything else.
