HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Weather permitting, there are several fun events going on in Hopkinsville this weekend. Head out to Christian Way Farm for their opening day of the season, check out spring break events at the library, or attend a book signing!

Karaoke Party: Karaoke Night is 5-6 p.m. April 4 at Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St. They will be giving away prizes for some of their favorite performances! All sorts of costume accessories and props will be available to help you complete your routine. Karaoke Night is part of our Spring Fling programming, which provides free activities for our school-age youth during Christian County Public School’s Spring Break.

Opening Day at Christian Way Farm: The farm and mini golf fun returns for 2025 on Saturday, April 5! Come pet and feed the farm animals, play a round of mini golf, take a spin on the lawnmower train or race a tricycle. Enjoy Hunt Brothers Pizza and Wings in the Christian Way Cafe, play on the playground, shop in the country store or just enjoy the wide-open space on our farm to run and play.

Pathfinder Day: Visit Hopkinsville Community College on Pathfinder Day to enroll in classes for Summer and Fall 2025. Just drop in at the Administration Building between 9-11 a.m. on April 5, get help with financial aid, visit an advisor, and enroll in classes. Current and new students welcome! No appointment is needed.

Book Signing at Blush & Bashful: Romance author Anne Willoughby will be at local bookstore Blush & Bashful at the Pennyrile Marketplace to sign copies of her books, which will also be on sale while supplies last on April 5 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Spring Break Challenge: The library has put together an intense physical fitness competition for our kids, tweens and teens to wrap up their spring break vacation on April 5 from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. Those who dare to take on The Spring Break Challenge, will test their skills on the balance beam and take a chance at the unique Leap Frog game, among other tasks. Light refreshments will be served.
