HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Weather permitting, there are so many fun events to check out inside and outdoors in Hopkinsville. Check out miles of yard sales, watch a juggling performance or baseball game, take a dip in a pool, or see wrestlers at the last night of the fair!
Highway 41 Yard Sale: The annual Highway 41 Yard Sale will take place June 27-28. This legendary sale runs over 150 miles starting at the KY-Indiana state line and following HWY 41/41A all the way to the KY-Tennessee state line through Christian County.
Juggling at the Library: Tom Foolery Juggling will perform 10-11 a.m. on June 28 at Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St. This free show is suitable for all ages. It is part of their 2025 Summer Reading Program, “Reading Under the Big Top.”
Hoptown Hoppers Military Appreciation Night: The MAC is happy to see Military Appreciation Night at the Hoppers return on June 27 at 6:30 p.m. once again thanks to Olivet Baptist Church. Come out, bring the kids and tell stories of what Friday nights at the baseball game used to be like and enjoy. The First Single Soldier to find the MAC director there and post a picture with him tagging the MAC will be bought up to $20 worth of concessions.
Military Appreciation Weekend at Bluegrass Splash: Join us for military appreciation weekend at Bluegrass Splash in Hopkinsville, Ky. Cool off with us and enjoy the festivities, vendors and prizes will be available! This extends June 28-29 through the entire day.
USWF Wrestling at the Western Kentucky State Fair: The fair fun continues through this weekend, ending on Jan. 28 with a live wrestling show at the indoor (air conditioned) convention center on the fairgrounds. Wrestling starts at 7 p.m., with carnival rides, vendors also available.
Casey’s Til Late: Every Saturday at Casey Jones Distillery they are keeping the doors open until 9 p.m.with free live music 6:30 p.m.- 8:45 p.m. and a local food truck 12:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. There will be craft cocktails & Moonaritas at the bar and award-winning bourbon, moonshine, and craft spirits. This is a free and family friendly event.
