HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This weekend bring the kids to a family fun concert, watch country star Nate Smith live at Oak Grove, begin your summer reading adventure, and listen to the smooth sounds of jazz.

Jack Hartmann Free Children Concert:  Enjoy a free children’s concert with photo opportunities and a meet and greet at the end. G’s BBQ and Palette Junkies will be available on site for dinner at Christian County High School, 220 Glass Avenue on Friday, May 31 at 5 p.m.

Nate Smith at Oak Grove: Come see country artist Nate Smith at the one and only Moonshine Amphitheater at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, 777 Winners Way on Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for $25 to $98.

Summer Reading Kick-Off Party: Join the library, 1101 Bethel Street in their annual kick off party for their summer reading program. There will food, games, and lots of outdoor fun! The fun begins on Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jazz Brunch: Get your mimosa on and join the Hopkinsville Brewing Co., 102 East 5 Street for a special series of jazz brunches featuring the original arrangements of local musician Addisson Grimm and food from Chef Jamie’s food truck. The event begins on Sunday, June 2 from 12-4 p.m.
