HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Temperature will reach nearly 50 degrees in Christian County on Friday, with wind gusts as high as 23 mph expected this afternoon. Forecasted sunshine should help melt lingering snow and ice throughout the county.

While the cold returns for a bit on Saturday, the National Weather Service in Paducah is anticipating temperatures to rise back up to the 50s on Sunday.
