HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County Emergency Management has confirmed that a Disaster Declaration has been signed by President Biden. FEMA assistance is now available to anyone in the county who was affected by the storms that occurred on May 21 through May 27.

Residents with damage sustained from straight line winds, tornadoes, or otherwise require for assistance in rebuilding or repairing may qualify. Kentucky Govenor Andy Beshear presented the declaration to the White House, and it was signed on July 23.
