HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible today in Christian County, with a Wind Advisory issued until 4 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service, southwest winds from 15-20 mph are expected this afternoon, with gusts up to 50 mph possible. This will impact several counties in the region including Christian County and western Kentucky.
Gusts may blow unsecured objects and tree limbs, which may result in power outages. Driving may also be difficult for high profile vehicles who are urged to use extra caution.
