HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Christian County from March 4 at noon through March 5 at 7 p.m.
Southwest winds from 15 to 25 mph are expected, with gusts up to 40 mph possible. These gusts may blow around unsecured items, and broken tree limbs may result in power outages, according to NWS. Drivers are urged to be cautious while out on the roads, especially high-profile vehicles.
Along with winds, there is a high chance of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday after 4 p.m. and overnight. Rain may continue into Wednesday, clearing up by the evening.
