HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A woman was killed after a single vehicle wreck resulted in her car rolling into a body of water on Greenville Road in Hopkinsville on Dec. 26.
The accident occurred Thursday night around 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Greenville Road and Highway 800, according to Hopkinsville EMS. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway, rolled over several times, and landed in a nearby creek several yards away.
Upon arrival, the woman was administered CPR while paramedics transported her to Jennie Stuart Health in cardiac arrest. She later died from her injuries. Scott Daniel, Christian County Coroner has identified her as 60-year-old Sandra Holder from Elkton.
Two additional people were in the vehicle during the accident including an 18-year-old and a juvenile, who were taken to Jennie Stuart by family members.
