HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Sunny skies will hold Monday with a high near 62, but rain moves in overnight as showers and thunderstorms develop after midnight, according to the National Weather Service.

A wet pattern sets in for much of the week. Showers and thunderstorms are likely Tuesday with highs in the low 70s, and rain is expected to continue Tuesday night.

After a brief break with partly sunny skies Wednesday, storm chances return late Wednesday night and continue through Friday. Highs will stay near 70, with several rounds of showers and thunderstorms likely before conditions begin to taper off Friday night.
