HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This week starts with highs near 15 and wind chill values dipping below zero, ensuring that the few inches of snowfall in Christian County is here to stay for a while.
An Extreme Cold Warning is in effect until 10 a.m. on Jan. 27. Clear skies Monday night will allow temperatures to fall below zero, with wind chills as low as negative 12 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Cold but dry weather continues through midweek, with highs mainly in the 20s and chilly overnight lows in the single digits. Mostly sunny skies continue through Friday with bitter cold expected as lows drop back below zero by Friday night.
