HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A Flood Watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for Hopkinsville. This is in effect from 10 a.m. Monday morning through midnight, with rain expected nearly every day this week.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will develop across western Kentucky from late Monday morning through late tonight. Areas that see thunderstorms could receive 1.5 to 3.0 inches of rain in just one or two hours, with locally higher amounts of up to four inches possible, according to NWS in Paducah.
