HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A chance of thunderstorms are possible to start the week with warmer temperatures on the way.

There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms on Monday, rising to 90% Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs will remain in the upper 80s with lows in the mid 60s.

  • Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 79. North wind 5 to 7 mph.

  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 84. South southwest wind 6 to 8 mph.
