Even though it’s cold outside, there are still plenty of fun things to do around town!

This weekend kick off 2025 with an exotic pet show, take a cake decorating class, and meet an author at a local book shop!

There are many ways to welcome in the new year, whether it’s by celebrating around town or enjoying a night at home with fireworks.

Though Christmas has passed, the fun continues around town! Dance the night away while supporting a great cause, enjoy a laugh out loud comedy show, and gather with friends or family for some karaoke!

This weekend support the Hopkinsville Alumnae Chapter by dancing the night away, participate in a book club and gift exchange, enjoy the last Christmas market at Clayton’s Downtown, and visit a live auction filled with cool items!

Watch a timeless classic with the family, shop among uniquely decorated trees, enjoy a sweet treat market, gather your friends to watch the annual Christmas parade, and catch a glimpse of Santa Claus as he travels through the city.

The Festival of Trees is making its return to Hopkinsville at The Bruce on Friday, Dec. 13 and 14.

This weekend shop among local vendors, bring the family for a movie night with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, listen to a Christmas themed concert, spend the day at Jeffers Bend, drink hot cocoa with Santa in Oak Grove, and visit the Ft. Campbell holiday market!

Walking into the Oak Grove Community Center on a Monday night, you will see batons flying through the air and into the hands of children as Jonnie Peterson teaches and encourages fun for all.

Santa Claus is coming to Hoptown to spread holiday cheer and he’s bringing the Hopkinsville Fire Department along for the ride.
