HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Police Department invited the community to join them for a cookout with cops at the dog park on Pardue Lane.
Officer Royal Marfil with HPD told Christian County Now these events are a great way for them to build trust with community members, “For those that have not been able to attend a cookout with us before, can expect to have fun! It’s a great way to interact with the community, especially the kids, in a fun and lax environment.”
Officers gathered with their pets and working dogs, grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, passed out toys to kids, and gave a live K9 demonstration.
