Betty Martin, 77, of Madisonville, Kentucky died at 1:48 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 12:00 at Crofton Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the church. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Todd County, Kentucky she was born on August 2, 1946 the daughter of William Thomas Oatts and Floyd Eva Gibson Oatts. She was employed as a factory worker with Flynn Enterprises. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents; husband: Vancil “Buddy” Martin and by all of her siblings.
Survivors include her Partner and best friend David Johnson; sons: Brian Johnson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; Shane Johnson of Crofton, Kentucky; and Colby (Paige) Johnson of Crofton, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Kourtney Knight of Crofton, Kentucky; Lauren Johnson of Crofton, Kentucky; Baileigh (Ansley) Hartley of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; Desiree Johnson of Iowa; she is also survived by four great grandchildren and her loving chihuahua “Finn”.
