The Moving Wall, a replica of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., is on display in Oak Grove this weekend from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2.
OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) –The Moving Wall, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., stretches nearly all the way around the American Legion Post 233 building in Oak Grove. It is on display Labor Day weekend from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2.
According to the Vietnam Traveling Memorial website, “This Traveling Memorial stands as a reminder of the great sacrifices made during the Vietnam War. It was made for the purpose of helping heal and rekindle friendships and to allow people the opportunity to visit loved ones in their hometown who otherwise may not be able to make the trip to Washington.”

The wall holds more than 58,000 names of past Vietnam veterans. It can be seen at the American Legion Post 233, 14633 Fort Campbell Blvd.
