Work week weather: Clear and frosty with overnight lows in the 30s

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – We have a dry, chilly week ahead with frost and overnight lows dropping to the mid-30s.

Highs will be in the low 60s and upper 50s throughout the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s the day-by-day outlook

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 63. North northwest wind 7 to 11 mph.
Monday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. Light northwest wind.
Tuesday: A chance of sprinkles between 9am and 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 58. Light north northwest wind increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.
Tuesday night: Areas of frost after 3am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 33. North northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light north after midnight.
Wednesday: Areas of frost before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 61. North northwest wind 3 to 8 mph.
Wednesday night: Areas of frost after 2am. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 32. Light and variable wind.
Thursday: Widespread frost, mainly before 7am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 65. Light east southeast wind.
Thursday night: Clear, with a low around 39. Light east southeast wind.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 70. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph.
Friday night: Clear, with a low around 42. Light east southeast wind.
