HOPKINSVILLE, KY – The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County invites you to their next History on Tap on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company for a community conversation about life in Hopkinsville and Christian County in the 1960s.
From fashion and music to Civil Rights and Vietnam, this pivotal decade saw great change, progress, and conflict. Join alumni from Hopkinsville, Christian County, and Attucks High School as they reflect on memories of everything from dances and hangouts to sporting events and bomb shelters. They hope you’ll add your stories to the conversation, too!
The final History on Tap for 2024 will be on Thursday, December 5. This special holiday program on a special day will bring a few “Ghosts of Christmas Past” back to life as we explore Letters to Santa published in the Kentucky New Era in the 1980s.
History on Tap is a free series that seeks to share local history in a relaxed, fun setting. Programs are typically held on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company.
