Community invited to Veterans Honor Parade in downtown Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The community is invited to attend the Veterans Honor Parade on Nov. 9 in downtown Hopkinsville.

The parade route will begin at the War Memorial Building, travel through downtown and end at the Justice Center where a service ceremony will immediately take place afterwards.

Veterans that participate in the parade will either be walking the route or riding in a designated float waving American flags. The parade will start at 10 a.m., school marching bands and JROTC members will also be participating. In case of severe weather, the JROTC challenge and veterans ceremony will be held inside the Memorial Building.
