HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Members of the Hopkinsville Rotary Club are prepping for their fourth annual Roast & Toast event on Saturday, Nov. 2. The event will be held at Casey Jones Distillery at 6 p.m. with live music, drinks, and a whole hog meal.

Landon Stallons, 75th Rotary Auction Chair said that along with the meal, they will also be showing the Kentucky vs. Tennessee football game on a big screen. The distillery will be providing mocktails and cocktails, and Shannon the Dude’s band Alice Blue Gown will play music throughout the night.

“All proceeds from the event will go towards the 75th Rotary Auction in April,” said Stallons. The large auction provides college scholarships to local students through the Rotary Scholars program at Hopkinsville Community College. “In addition, the proceeds provide grants to local youth and education initiatives, and to local school donations for clubs and extracurricular activities,” he said.

The event is open to the public, tickets cost $50 each. A full meal, dessert, and lemonade is included in the ticket price. Purchase tickets and find more information on the Hopkinsville Rotary Club website.
