HOPKINSVILLE, KY – After the successful inaugural 2023-2024 season, the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex is excited to announce the return of the Youth Soccer at the Plex League for the 2024-2025 season. New this year, registration is available for both full teams and individual players.

Sign-ups are open starting Oct. 28, at hopkinsvillesportsplex.com. Sponsored this season by Sonic, the continuing youth league is open to local students ages 8 to 12 who reside in Hopkinsville or nearby counties and cities. Registration costs $65 per individual player or $500 per team, covering all necessary materials, including team t-shirts, the eight-game regular season, and a single-elimination tournament.

Teams registering as a unit must provide their own jerseys and coach. Community members or businesses interested in supporting local youth soccer can participate through team sponsorships.

Practices will begin after registration closes on Nov. 30, with dates and times announced once teams are finalized. League play will run through February 2025. Limited coaching positions remain available for those interested in joining the league. Parents and coaches are encouraged to join the private Facebook group “Soccer at the Plex – 2024-25 Parent/Coaches Group” and enable push notifications to stay updated on league news.
