HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Extension Office is hoping to teach aspiring gardeners in and around Christian County about invasive plants during an upcoming workshop at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center.
On Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon, University of Kentucky specialist Dr. Ellen Crocker will host the workshop. Kelly Jackson with the extension office said it is aimed to anyone interested in learning more about plant identification, and how to manage invasives on their own properties.
This event is free and open to the public. Green thumbs interested in participating can sign up on the Jeffers Bend Invasive Plant Workday registration page. Anyone with questions about the event can contact kelly.jackson@uky.edu.
