OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man was flown to Vanderbilt hospital Monday night after sustaining a gunshot wound to his head, following an incident in Oak Grove.
Hopkinsville EMS along with Oak Grove Police responded to the 100 block of Wassom Court for an adult male with a gunshot wound, around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 11.
Upon arrival, EMS immediately began life saving interventions and was able to stabilize the patient who was taken via helicopter to Nashville, according to HFD spokesperson Payton Rogers.
Rogers says at this time, they are unaware of the victim’s condition. The incident is currently under investigation by the Oak Grove Police Department.
