HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The doors have opened for downtown Hopkinsville’s newest restaurant, The Crusty Pig. Owners Mallory Lawrence, Margaret Prim, and Mindy Hargrove have been focused on renovations for the majority of the year, with everything finally coming together for a grand opening Dec. 9.

Located across the street from The Mixer and conveniently located near the Alhambra at the corner of East Seventh and South Virgina Street, the large, bright building is on the site of what was previously the historical Hotel Latham.

Prim showed Christian County Now around the bustling space as they were already busy for lunch, explaining every purposeful detail from the historic barnwood lining the bar to the massive pizza oven displayed in the open kitchen. She said they had the opportunity to really test themselves during the soft opening and are now feel ready for regular hours. Prim credits their dedicated staff for working hard as the grand opening neared.

On the menu are appetizers like house made pork rinds, an array of sandwiches, and flights of mason jar desserts. When it comes to their signature pizza’s, brick oven fired pies include The Crusty Pig pizza with onions, pulled pork, barbecue sauce, and pork rinds, along with other unique and classic topping combinations on other pizzas. During lunch hours, people can buy by the slice, with community tables available for casual eating.

The Crusty Pig will be open daily with the following hours.
