HOPKINSVILLE, KY — Auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) original adaptation of Hercules will be held on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at Indian Hills Elementary Gymnasium from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Those auditioning should arrive at 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours.

Some cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. Among the roles to be cast are the mighty Hercules, the philosophers Androcles, Socrates, Aristotle, Zeus, Hera, and Helen of Troy, the announcers Homer and Archimedes, Pegasus, Lion, the hilarious cyclops, the savvy Influencers, the competitive Olympians, and the mighty Titans.

All students, ages kindergarten through 12th grade, are encouraged to audition. No preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities. The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions include costumes, scenery, and props.

MCT Tour Actors/Directors will conduct rehearsals from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day. HERCULES will be presented at the Alhambra Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Hopkinsville is presented locally by Pennyroyal Arts Council, Inc.
