CROFTON, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Holler Bash took place this past weekend in Crofton, bringing together ATV and UTV thrill seekers for an action-packed event. On over 11,000 acres of Christian County farmland, the weekend featured off-road riding, a bounty hole, live music, and food trucks, with attendees camping or dropping by for the day.
“Everybody’s been safe, friendly, getting along, food’s good, people have been nice, so it’s a good time so far,” said Mark Schneider who travelled from Illinois for the event. This is the second Holler Bash event organizer Joshua Allen has put on by designing and digging out a dynamic racetrack to offer the area a fun, messy event on his expansive land.

Eric Blackweleer attended the first Holler Bash in August, returning for another weekend of fun. “We love it, this is what we live for,” he told Christian County Now.
Obstacle course competitors had the chance to win a $1,000 pay out for the fastest time, while the bounty hole mud pit was a crowd favorite as vehicles got dirty trying to get out. The evenings concluded with concerts and some night riding along their 40 miles of trails on the property.
Allen hopes to continue to grow and expand the event as interest spreads around the area to bring people to the beautiful land in Crofton. To find out about future events, find The Holler Bash on Facebook.
