HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Christian County Public Schools District Activities Director Kerry Stovall and Hopkinsville High School Athletic Director Jacob Ezell announced the hiring of Kwesi Boafo, as the new coach of the CCHS and HHS Cross Country programs. Boafo brings a unique blend of medical knowledge, practical experience in human performance, and a successful background as a collegiate athlete to the program.

A former cross-country runner himself, Coach Boafo brings firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the sport to his new role. With a master’s degree in biology and more than two years as a physiotherapy assistant, he offers practical knowledge in injury prevention and physical conditioning. Boafo is committed to helping athletes grow both on and off the course, focusing on well-being, resilience, and reaching their full potential through smart, intentional training.
