HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Animal Shelter will host their annual Howl-O-Ween event, where people can shop vendors, get pets microchipped, and more while supporting the shelter.
Cats and dogs will be available for adoption, with fees reduced to $50 plus tax during the event on Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the shelter. Attendees can have their pets microchipped for $16 and nails trimmed for $15. The event will also feature food trucks, vendors, and, weather permitting, a bounce house for children.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the shelter’s GET EM DONE program, which helps provide spay and neuter services for animals. Christian County Human Society, G’s BBQ, Max’s Hope Rescue, and The Groomery are just a few of the participating vendors. Any organization that is interested in participating can reserve a booth for $25.
The shelter encourages the public to bring family, friends, and pets for a day of fun while supporting a local cause.
