HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – With only a couple of weeks left before the end of the 2025-26 high school football regular season, let’s take a look at the remaining games to play for Hopkinsville High and Christian County High, according to Max Preps. This is the final year both schools will play separately before consolidation at the new Christian County High School next school year.
For the Hopkinsville Tigers, they currently have a record of 3-4 following their latest loss against McCracken County by a score of 59-56. Their loss against the Mustangs marked their first district game of the year.
The Tigers are averaging more than 38.5 points per contest this season and look to carry their offensive firepower into their upcoming games to finish out the season. They’ll be facing the following teams over the next couple of weeks:
- Oct. 17: Hopkinsville High vs. Henderson County at 7 p.m.
- Oct. 24: Hopkinsville High @ Christian County at 7 p.m.
- Oct. 31: Hopkinsville High vs. W.E.B. DuBois Academy.

As for Christian County High football, the Colonels are 1-5 this season, however, they are 1-1 under interim head coach Kelly Myers, who took over the program after former head coach Ethan Atchley resigned back in September.
While they got beat at South Pittsburgh by a score of 69-8 last week, they beat the Caverna Colonels at home 40-32 to clinch their first victory of the season.
Here’s the dates and times for the remaining Christian County High games to finish out the high school football regular season:
- Oct. 10: Christian County @ Henderson County at 7 p.m.
- Oct. 17: Christian County @ McCracken County at 7 p.m.
- Oct. 24: Christian County vs. Hopkinsville High at 7 p.m.
- Oct. 31: Christian County @ Paducah Tilghman at 7 p.m.
