HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Recently State Representative Myron Dossett, of Pembroke, had the opportunity to tour the new consolidated facility for Christian County High School with Superintendent Chris Bentzel, gaining an up-close look at the campus and its innovative learning spaces.
“I was very impressed with the facility and the work being done,” Dossett said. “It’s clear that they are creating a positive environment that will foster not only academic success, but also individual student growth.”

During the visit, Dossett toured the new consolidated high school and greenhouse. While renovations are still underway, he noted the quality of construction and the steady progress being made. The greenhouse will serve as a hands-on learning space for students in the school’s agricultural program. As Chair of the House Standing Committee on Agriculture, Dossett has long been an advocate for agricultural education and workforce development across the Commonwealth.
“This is a unique opportunity for young people to have valuable, hands-on learning experiences,” Dossett shared. “This is a step in the right direction in cultivating our next generation of agriculture experts and farmers.”
Dossett was also pleased to see the consolidated facility separates freshman students from upper-class students, a design choice that supports both safety and a focused learning environment. The visit was especially meaningful to Dossett, who looks forward to his granddaughter, Aubrey Warren, attending Christian County High School during the 2026–2027 school year.
“It means a great deal to know that students here will have access to modern resources, dedicated learning spaces, and strong educational support,” he said. “I see this school becoming an exceptional learning environment for years to come,” Dossett added, “That’s why I’m excited for my granddaughter to attend Christian County High School next year.”
