HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Multiple people were taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after a bus accident in Hopkinsville.
Just before 12:30 on March 6, the Hopkinsville Fire Department/EMS responded to an accident near the intersection of Canton Street and Henderson Drive. Payton Rogers, spokesperson with HFD, told Chrisitan County Now that two vehicles were involved in the accident, one of which was a bus from the Pennyrile Allied Community Services that was transporting multiple people.
According to HFD, four adults on the bus were transported to Jennie Stuart Health as a result of the accident with various injuries, none of which are life threatening.
PACS busses offer transportation to various medical facilities as well as routes for public transportation. Christian County Now has reached out to the Hopkinsville Police Department for information about potential charges.
