HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The body of a Christian County woman who was reported missing in January has been located in Nortonville. An investigation into locating 39-year-old Emerald “Emmy” Raeann Forgette was initiated at the beginning of the year after she was reported missing. She was last in the area of Hopkinsville Road in Nortonville.

A news release from Kentucky State Police Post 2 states that on March 25 at approximately 2:40p.m Hopkins County Sherriff’s Office contacted KSP regarding a 911 call they received of a deceased female.

A resident from the 400 block of South Hopkinsville Street in Nortonville contacted 911 advising they located the body near the back of their property. Law enforcement arrived and identified the body as Emerald “Emmy” Raeann Forgette, age 39, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

An autopsy has been completed and no foul play is suspected. This investigation is ongoing and being led by Detective Fortney U/258.
