HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The National Service has issued a Freeze Warning for Christian County in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Rain will come in as wind gusts will increase Friday with the temperature steadily dropping throughout the day. Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29 are expected overnight.

It will warm up slightly Saturday into the high 50s, reaching 71 by Sunday.

  • Today: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly between 11am and 4pm. Cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 52 by 4pm. North wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
  • Tonight: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 32. North wind 6 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
  • Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 58. North northeast wind around 7 mph.
  • Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. East wind 3 to 5 mph.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. South southwest wind 6 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
