FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Fort Campbell has announced that the Gate 4 Visitor Control Center is temporarily closed as of April 14.
Vehicle traffic is still permitted through Gate 4 during the closure, but all VCC operations have been temporarily relocated. Until further notice, visitors who are seeing a pass to get on base will have to go to Gate 7. The VCC will operate 24/7 at this location.
In light of this change, Fort Campbell is encouraging visitors to apply for a one-day pass up to ten days in advance by pre-registering online. Anyone entering the installation must have a REAL ID or another approved Federally issued ID.
