HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Tymeless Hearts is a non-profit organization based out of Hopkinsville whose mission is to help children, adults and families who have been impacted by congenital heart disease (CHD).

Beth Brown, who founded the nonprofit back in 2006, was affected firsthand by CHD when she lost her three-month-old son who was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. This is a CHD, explains Brown. “It basically means he was born with half a heart.”

Since then, Brown has wanted to help families who are going through, or went through, the same thing she did. Tymeless Hearts helps families in a variety of ways. “In the past, we have helped families with Christmas gifts, care packages, rent, mortgages, medical expenses and anything a family might need,” Brown said.

While Tymeless Hearts does not have a physical location, Brown and her team work out of their homes to save money and fundraise online. “Rather than paying for a location, we use that money to donate to the families,” said Brown.

Beth and her organization have helped thousands of families in Hopkinsville and surrounding areas. The organization has several chapters throughout the country including one in Florida, Tennessee, New Hampshire and Wisconsin.

Tymeless Hearts is looking for additional volunteers as they plan an event in the spring, which will be held in Hopkinsville. The event will include fundraising, an Easter egg hunt, bounce houses, games, food and the possibility of a silent auction, explains Brown.
