HOPKINSVILLE, KY – After careful consideration and ongoing conversations with local emergency management, school administrators, and our senior representatives from each school, we CCPS has made the decision to move graduation ceremonies indoors to each school’s gym due to the forecasted weather conditions and concerns for the safety of our students, families, staff, and guests.
While weather forecasts can vary, the likelihood of rain, lightning and storms is currently greater than 70% for this evening. CCPS believes moving indoors is the best and safest alternative to ensure ceremonies can proceed with as little disruption as possible.

Each graduate has been provided 10 tickets for family and friends for the indoor ceremony. They recognize this may create challenges for some families, and they truly appreciate understanding and flexibility as they work to provide a safe and meaningful celebration for every graduate. There are no extra tickets available and each attendee, regardless of age will need a ticket. Please do not call the school to request tickets.
