Updated 9:39 a.m.: Repairs to the broken water main in downtown Hopkinsville have been completed, according to KYTC.
One section of South Main Street (KY 107), between Ninth and Tenth streets will remain closed at least through Monday when repairs can be made to the damaged asphalt.
HWEA has also restored water services to impacted buildings.

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) –A broken water main has resulted in multiple road closures Saturday morning in the downtown Hopkinsville area.
Just after 5 a.m. on July 18, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported the broken water main, saying that crews were currently blocking the intersections of Ninth and Bethel Street, Ninth and Virginia Street, along with South Main and Fourth Street.
The duration of the closures are unknown at this time.
