CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – An interstate crash involving road crews left one person with injuries Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a wreck at the 71-mile marker in the westbound lane of Interstate 24 around 2 p.m. A tractor-trailer collided with a work truck that was painting lines on the road, which resulted in the paint truck being pushed into the median.
The driver of the paint truck was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for to be treated for injuries, according to CCSO.
Traffic is down to one lane in the area; motorists are advised to use caution through the area.
