HOPKINSVLLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County Now has joined the Christian County Chamber of Commerce, with an official ribbon cutting at White’s Auto Mall in Hopkinsville on Thursday.
At a lunch meeting prior to the ribbon cutting, Editor-in-Chief Chris Smith spoke to Chamber Ambassadors about the mission, and the progress of the local news website since launching in September.
“We’re so encouraged by the support and welcome that we’ve received from the community,” Smith said after the event. “This is only the beginning for ChristianCountyNow.com, and we look forward to growing in our mission to provide compelling local news and information focused on Christian County. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited to see where this goes.”
Kevin Miskimins, General Manager and President of 5 Star Media Group, attended the event, along with sales representatives, reporters and Chamber members.
Christian County Now is part of 5 Star Media Group, which also includes Clarksville Now and nine radio stations: Beaver 100.3, Q108, Z97.5, Rewind 94.3, Sunny 99.1, ESPN Clarksville, Outlaw 100.7, EZ 99.9 and NewZee 105.5.
