HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Fire Department responded to a large dumpster fire Tuesday night after debris ignited.
Around 10 p.m. on Aug. 18, firefighters responded to the dead end of North Jessup Avenue. A large dumpster that was mostly filled with debris had caught fire in front of a vacant home, according to Captain Payton Rogers with HFD.
Initial reports indicate that the fire may have been purposefully set, but that has not been confirmed.
