Updated 7:39 a.m. The Christian County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 42-year-old Miguel Finch of Hopkinsville.
The latest information from the Hopkinsville Police Department says no arrests have been made so far in connection to the shooting. This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call ECC at 270-890-1300.

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville Police are investigating an overnight shooting on Wednesday that killed a man.
According to Captain Payton Rogers with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS, and adult man was severely injured after being shot in the chest at Ravenwood Drive Apartments off of Koffman Drive. Around 3 a.m. on Aug. 26, emergency crews arrived on the scene and treated the individual, and he was transported to the hospital with CPR in progress.
Rogers confirmed that the man died at the hospital as a result of his injuries. His identity has not been released at this time. Christian County Now has reached out to HPD about the investigation.
